April 10, 2020 | Husson University, 340 County Rd, Westbrook, ME
For the second part of CCSME’s Integrated Pain Management Series, Dr. Stephen Hull and Joel Guarna will review models of treating chronic pain that address its diverse biopsychosocial aspects. Employing strategies from both behavioral pain management (CBT and ACT) and medical management of chronic pain, we will look beyond pain reduction to higher goals of improving overall functioning and life satisfaction, i.e., making life bigger. Participants will leave this workshop understanding how to augment or repurpose their existing skill sets to treat patients with chronic pain in their respective settings. Do not miss the series opener, a free webinar: Understanding Chronic Pain. May sign up for the program of your choice or register twice to participate in the full series.
